The NATA Timely Topics Series has brought athletic training thought leaders and sports medicine practitioners together in an informative virtual forum since 2020. This member-focused resource has fostered discussion to help ATs grow their clinical practice and understanding of hot topics in health care. Each event gives attendees the chance to connect in real time to thought leaders who have anecdotal success within these areas of interest, as well as access to a library of related resources.
Throughout this year, NATA hosted five Timely Topics events, featuring 60-plus thought leaders and more than 830 attendees. The events were:
- The AT and Gender Equity (Sponsored By: The NATA AT Compensation Task Force)
- The AT and Conversations on DEIA: Past, Present and Future
- The AT and Student Debt Part 1 (Sponsored By: The NATA AT Compensation Task Force)
- The AT and Student Debt Part 2 (Sponsored By: Laurel Road)
- The AT, Private Practice and Emerging Settings (Sponsored by NATA's Council on Practice Advancement)
Timely Topics events are available live and on-demand to members for free and $45 per event for nonmembers. Be sure to follow NATA’s communication channels for more information on its live Timely Topics events. Members can freely access its complete repertoire of the events and resource libraries on the NATA Timely Topics resources page.
