The anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is one of the most commonly injured ligaments in the knee. An ACL injury can occur in any sport, with 70 percent of ACL injuries being sustained during non-contact sports and 30 percent sustained during contact sports. To help you educate your athletes, parents and administration on ACL injury, NATA has created an ACL injury handout (pdf) that was published in the March NATA News on p. 62.
Don’t forget to check out our other infographic handouts that have been made available for NATA members to download, reprint and distribute to their local communities.
