Celebrating Athletic Trainers, Since 1950, Champions in Health Care

With National Athletic Training Month officially kicking off March 1, you might be looking for ways to celebrate the profession and shine a light on athletic training's “Champions in Health Care.”

Whether you’ve got five minutes or five hours to devote to your efforts, NATA is here to help. Each week in March, NATA Now will highlight three NATM celebration tips, ranging in time needed to accomplish. We will also highlight the resources you can use as you shout out your peers and increase the public’s understanding of the athletic training profession.

For more information, visit our NATM webpage.

Got Five Minutes? Shout Out Your Peers

Use social media to give a shoutout to one or more of your peers for their outstanding work. Write a post, take a picture or video and tag an AT you want to celebrate. Get creative, have fun or even be sentimental with your post.

Have a Bit More Time? Send Your Mentor a Gift

Do you have a mentor who has made a positive impact on you and your career? Let them know what they mean to you by sending them a gift or letter expressing your appreciation.

Have Even More Time? Become a Mentor Yourself

Mentorship makes a lasting impact well beyond National Athletic Training Month. If you haven’t already done so, consider becoming a mentor and join the NATA Mentor Match Program, available through Gather.
