Students and athletic training programs, you’re invited to attend the NATA Student Leadership Committee’s virtual fall engagement event, "The Great AT Debate," at 7 p.m. CDT Oct. 16.
During this event, athletic training students will be broken up into teams and debate on hot topics in athletic training. "The Great AT Debate" will be a great time to talk and collaborate with other students across the country.
“This will help athletic training students by providing them practice with argumentation, public speaking skills and another opportunity to practice their critical thinking skills,” SLC Outreach Committee Chair Claire Love said.
Students participating in "The Great AT Debate" will be presented with a question or scenario. Each team will be assigned a viewpoint to argue, after which judges will decide the winner.
