The Intercollegiate Council for Sports Medicine recognizes one individual each year for exceptional performance as a member of an athletic training staff. Award recipients are actively involved in their community or campus, athletic training associations and promotion of the profession.
Criteria
- Currently employed as a full-time athletic trainer serving on an athletic training staff in a collegiate setting, but not the head of the department
- Professional experience in the collegiate setting (does not have to be continuous or at the same institution)
